The Moment

The Moment

A Poem by Lydia Shutter

artwork by patrician prints courtesy of etsy.com

A flash of leg
such a tasty aperitif
lust shaken and stirred
do you taste my need?

Anxiously you hover
ginger spice and desire
boldly displayed
in your hungry stare

The silent knowledge
of delicious consequences
sizzles in my soul

                       I belong to the moment

dear Lydi... almost a week later... but
still sizzles. A touch of James Bond...
shaken and stirred. Ginger spice and desire...
remembering the days of nylon hose with a
black seam up the back.
"The silent knowledge of delicious
consequences! I belong to the moment".

aaaaah and such "moments" Lydi.. but Lydi, as you have always said. you don't need Friday nights to send us into sensual fantasies... "ginger spice and desire", hmmm no wonder you belong "in the moment, and how would it even be possible not to look???? (redzone trying to keep his eyes closed...) oooops, I peeked... ;o) I like the graphic too, and I can see you smiled when you found it and say I have just the words!!!! Ok, Lydi, there is only one thing left to say (well I could say more but..) "NICE"

A good pairs of legs can make a man wish for good things. Those quick flashes make us smile. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry. You are a amazing writer. Please send me read requests. I work a terrible schedule. I will read them ASAP.

One sensuous thought can lead to no more than that, or onto a thrilling excursion !

But it is the mystic of that first allure/encounter that drives us all excitedly into the unknown !

An intriguing poem !

"... lust shaken and stirred do you taste my need ? ". Who needs MaryAnn when we have the ginger and spice of your Friday Night Fare ? Yeah, just an old fan slipping in to say "Kudos" on another nice serving of sensuality. ~Jim
