out of the rain

out of the rain

A Poem by Lydia Shutter

photography by stefan beutler

silently sing to me
during the nonsensical intermissions of life
show me that curved lines
make far more sense than straight ones
in this multi-dimensional world
go ahead
contradict me
‘cause life has tricked me
don’t answer my questions
make me forget them
logic is highly overrated
and ofttimes exaggerated
it’s been a long journey
but i am here
steer me to your safe haven
get me out of the rain

... "curved lines

in this multi-dimensional world"...
and in/on those curved lines we go and we come and some how return to some places we have been before ~ hope with a bit more of knowledge! ~ the rain! We can be out in the rain and I'm sure you will never become "wet" and go on shining!

this is so good....forget the logic, live with your heart...

yes, there will be rain, but we will find safe havens...

life is mult-dimensional...and there are many curves...but that makes life fun...

really like this.

"it’s been a long journey but i am here steer me to your safe haven get me out of the rain" It is so nice to have that special someone who feels like "home" to us. Everyone needs a safe haven after that long journey. Your words are so beautiful and heartfelt.

"silently sing to me
during the nonsensical intermissions of life"... nice opening lines Lydi. yes, you are here and might I add, still full of those artistic nouns, vowels, and metaphors that make "art" and me happy to read you... ~~redzone... er.. almost forgot, "nice" poem Lydi (new place, can I get at least one forgetful moment??? ;o)
