The melody
of mysterious loneliness
resides in self imposed solitude
till a brave dreamer
comes to call.
Shadows interlace
creating a sensual facade
of fantasies vibrating
as they patiently wait
to break through
reality’s boundaries.
But do they dare?
The labyrinth of desire
taunts the maze of logic
as it seesaws over
the undulating abyss.
Passion struggles valiantly
to make it through
but truly there is no need - -
for, indeed, concupiscence
already lives there.
I don't know if you know this, but I think I am your biggest fan..... I, of simple mind just stand in awe of your talent and ability to take common words and make them special, and often unused words become magical, and it makes your poetry stand above mere lines on a page. You make me want to be a better writer. Trace

Like most everyone who's read it, I imagine, I'm a big fan of Prufrock and the "Do, I dare?", which was what drew me to this poem. The untapped potential of passion, the restraint in this poem is wonderful; I very much enjoyed it.
