Bloody TwilightA Poem by LyLyUpon the blood I spill tonight, Twilight's breath of unmistakable sight; No end do we see before us... Just something bigger than the rest of us.Bloody Twilight Upon the blood I spill tonight Twilight's breath of unmistakable sight No end do we see before us Just something bigger than the rest of us Power from the moonlight shines No life spared as the wolf begins to whine Siblings and parents long and gone The wolf waits out until the Dawn. The Dawn the wolf sees is not her release But only add to the pain and the crease A crease that has made its form in her heart For it can not beat right from the The wolf watches the starry skies Tears in her golden eyes Her wounds ached from the rigidness Inside her she felt just emptiness. She was scared and alone She hated to be on her own Maybe she'd And bear cubs for a very proud father? But she didn't see anything past her eyes Like a catcher in the rye Pain filled her eyes like a sea Nothing clicked in her like a key Pain was growing in the unbreakable heart But maybe this was finally the part? The Part where her life would pass As she lay bloody in the dewy grass Life wasn't going to be kind tonight No, not tonight This night In this bloody twilight. © 2013 LyLyAuthor's Note
