Sun (Rise?)

Sun (Rise?)

A Poem by Luxe

I stood up
To watch the sun rise
And it was pretty nice
If my eyes weren't so blurry
But it was a much better sight
Then these neon street lights
Sending lightning strikes through my retinas

It's OK now
Because the rotation of our world
In perspective to the sun
Reminds me things change
And my skin heals too
The sun will rise in
The palms of my hands tomorrow

About
We are together, all the pieces of me, parts of me, and people I'm made of. We were born together, we live together and we'll die together. I am nothing but the sky and every element that makes up our.. more..
