The Seamstress

The Seamstress

A Poem by Luxe

"You're falling apart at the seams"
I laugh
I'm seamless,
but falling apart at the mouth and tongue
I'm sorry
These teeth don't bear great enough walls
For the prisoners inside
Who make master escapes
And dive off of my diving board tongue
And into the fingers of others
To be twisted and pulled like clay
I'm sorry
These little cries for help
And these little insecurities
And these little doubts
Are what truly holds me together
But perhaps I'll cut the stitches

About
We are together, all the pieces of me, parts of me, and people I'm made of. We were born together, we live together and we'll die together. I am nothing but the sky and every element that makes up our.. more..
