Pizza Party

Pizza Party

A Poem by Luxe

Are you alright?
Oh yeah, I'm fine
Just crying at a pizza place
Near my house
Because I can't stand to go home right now

I count minutes on my fingertips
As my eyes dry
And as I down my sixth slice
Because all I know is that
This is the last place I want to be

For now on pizza places will remind me of you
Which f*****g sucks
Because I really like pizza
(Come on dude)
I should have gotten Chinese food

But still with each bite of boiling cheese
And each sip of aspartame
Your eyes flash through my mind
And makes me take another slice
Like taking flash shots of vodka

Your apathy
And my empathy
Make the perfect sense of dystrophy
Kind of like this pizza
But that's a whole other story

About
We are together, all the pieces of me, parts of me, and people I'm made of. We were born together, we live together and we'll die together. I am nothing but the sky and every element that makes up our.. more..
