There's Not Enough Days in a Week

There's Not Enough Days in a Week

A Poem by Luxe

I don't like Sundays
Because on Sundays I used to see you at church
And steal glances of you from across the hall
I don't like Mondays
Because I used to go over after school
In attempt to help you with your homework
And end up doing it all instead
I don't like Tuesdays
Because September 3rd of 2013 was a Tuesday
And that was significant
I don't like Wednesdays
Because on Wednesdays I used to force you to watch American Horror Story
Which you ended up liking anyway
I don't like Thursdays
Because those were our days to cuddle
And listen to the rain
I don't like Fridays
Because you'd take me out
And I'd have a migraine at Pub 99
I don't like Saturdays
Because we'd get high and play pool
And I forgot to enjoy my time with you
I don't like days
Unless they're with you

This is beautiful. It really encapsulates how you feel in an organized way. I think everyone has a period in their life where they don't like days. I know I did, and I can really identify with this poem. Really magnificent
