Forgery

Forgery

A Poem by Luxe

I have
Dozens of your love notes
Wrapped inside an old plastic sandwich bag
In my closet
I remember
Losing them at the airport
On my way to Italy
The feeling of total devastation
That came along with the loss
I remember the absolute relief and joy
Of later finding out
They were in my luggage
I also remember wanting to burn them
When you chose that blonde s**t over me
And I remember reading them over
Like I am now
Thinking of how much of a stranger you've become
There is no possible way
The You that you are now
Wrote these notes to fill me with hope
For the future
No
You never wrote these
It was forgery

About
We are together, all the pieces of me, parts of me, and people I'm made of. We were born together, we live together and we'll die together. I am nothing but the sky and every element that makes up our.. more..
