A Poem by Lux

I thought I could read you.
I thought all I had to do was pick you up, open you and read everything that's on your pages... but I can't even decipher the title.
You have a pretty cover, you really do -- the colors are bright and clear and I'm drawn to them like a moth is to fire. Looking at your cover I would've thought your genre is romance, since you look like you've had a lot of female hands on you.
Now I'm convinced it's mystery, and my whole life is turning into drama.

The metaphor you use here is interesting enough.. To read a person, to understand them can be very difficult.. As everyone is concealed under layers and layers to be peeled in time.. I liked reading this. Good work...
