The stars whisper
nightly.
They tell me of
their solitary dreams.
Of flying comets and
falling stars.
They whisper of the
secret
The universe has
caught in its’ web,
and sprinkled the earth with moon dust.
As we wait to hear the truth.
The stars’ breathed a sigh of relief.
Of the magic of the moon.
Of Saturn's rings and the Milky Way,
And Orion's belt in bright brilliance.
They whisper of the stardust,
And the great trick of life in this world.
They whisper of intelligence,
Beyond our human grasp.
Yet, we are caught.
They spin in colors unimaginable,
And black holes formed in angst.
The sun sends out it's flares,
The solar beyond our touch.
We walk the fine line of earth and atmosphere,
And wait in the middle,
Between the cauldron and the black cat,
With the sugar bats flying above,
In the solitude,
In the unknown dark.
The stars and planets dance around us,
And us around them; our moon orbiting our life
planet.
We wait, we live, we look up
We see a shooting star
We make a wish
Do they ever come true?
How often do we wonder where a fallen star lands?
