Nighttime Blues

Nighttime Blues

A Poem by LuxFalls

Empty street walks
Empty driveways
The streets are missing
The soul that walks

The lights are melting
The streets are stained
It's like they miss you
so they cry out in pain

It's like I'm missing you or something
It's like I'm missing you

Wow! I love this. I love the way you compared such a simple thing, like a road and street lights, to how it feels to miss someone. Though so short, it is so wonderful and holds a lot of emotion. I enjoyed this piece very much. Well done.
