I Cried For You....I Cried For Me...

This is about the same guy I wrote about in "Will You?" We were working on a project together and he felt very uncomfortable around me and he wanted to leave...Enjoy!

Yesterday was it

The wake-up call

The reality check

That something was amiss.

 

It was not difficult to see

How you really felt

I could see it in your eyes

I could hear it in your voice

 

But most of all

I could see it in you

The fact that you do not love me

Broke me into a million pieces

 

I never thought you had fancied me

But I still had hopes you would

You shattered them with two words

Two very simple words

 

"Okay, so..." was all you said

But the words meant everything

As it showed me your heart

And the thoughts in your head

 

You do not know that I cried that night

I cried for you

I cried for me

I cried because I know that we will never be.
