"

The first one to die at Columbine High School...this one is for you.

"

Angel on Earth

Sent by God

To heal our world

To die a martyr

To save us all

Rude and ignorant we all were

Until we heard your story

The story of a young girl

With a challenge

If one person is nice to someone

It will start a chain reaction

I see what that means

As it has changed me

Rachel, thank you for your words

And kindness to everyone

I wish that we could have been kind to you

Then maybe you'd still be here today

I remember her...and her brother speaking of how they argued that morning, over something that is certainly meaningless now. And her car was covered with snow, as I recall.

It was a horrible tragedy, to lose something so precious. But it's only when we stop remembering someone, that they are truly gone...

My best,

Deeply touching....

It still saddens me to death to think of what happened there and all the other places, too. What sickness of the mind would cause someone to take the lives of innocents? I wish I knew. This is a very touching tribute you've written.

You chose powerful subject matter for this piece and you executed it pretty well. It starts to sound a little closer to prose than poetry in the third stanza, though - be careful! Also, you should be careful about your punctuation - you don't need a comma after every line; it kind of breaks your flow. Nevertheless, good idea!

It's horrible when someone dies so young but she has left behind a legacy that will live on forever in the hearts of everyone. This write is a beautiful way to remember such a beautiful loving girl...
