The Girl Who NeverA Poem by LuthienThalia
She doesn't have a dragon tattoo,
She's never kicked a hornet's nest, But she did play with fire. Drawing correlations where they begin and end, Finding the formula of where she starts, Finding the pieces-parts that make-up who she is. She's not a European hacker, She's not a ward of state, She's never even thrown a punch. But she knows what it's like, She knows how it feels, The fear, the emptiness, the hollowness. She never lets anyone get close, Knowing that even if she does, She'll only end in the same place. The fear, the pain, the hollowness, the emptiness, It's a cycle, unending. Trust, only to be broken again.
