Glaring glow,
Screen scrolling,
Eyes dull,
Heart sunk.

Pulling away,
Nearly impossible,
All consuming,
All demanding.

No more time,
Chores undone,
Clothes never hung,
Memories surmounting.

Will I ever find a way to break this spell?

Okay, so I'm relieved that I'm not the only person with the problem. But it's amazing how you turned this into a short, sweet and striking poem. The use of short lines sort of reflect the persona's mindset that he doesn't have time to spend on anything but the object of his/her obsession.

I really loved it. Keep writing! :)
