Tolerate?

Tolerate?

A Poem by Rev. David J. Schreffler
"

What does it really mean to tolerate others?

"
Am I different from you?
Do you tolerate me?
I am different -- but,
What is different?

Do you think you can tolerate?
Does tolerate mean to negate,
To accept with a hate-filled heart,
To purposely set one apart?
I am different -- but,
What is different?

To tolerate is to call less.
To tolerate is to suggest,
That you love with deep seated spite,
The person you "know" you don't like.
I am different -- but,
What is different?

To love is not to tolerate;
To love is to end all the hate.
To love is acceptance of all;
To Love is a much greater call.
I am differrent -- but,
What is different?

Am I different from you?
Do you tolerate me?
I am different -- but,
What is different?

We are to honor are brothers and sisters and put there needs before
our own, sometimes that is harder to do then said but if we are doing
Gods will then it is a must, not everyone will get along, but we can always
put forth the effort in doing so, not everyone feels this way and that's to
bad, but as you know not everyone will see the kingdom of heaven, but
I plan to, so no I don't just tolerate my brothers and sisters, I try very hard
to love them as Christ does and differences are unique, perfectly made
as the Lord clearly points out, great thought provoking piece, thanks for sharing
and b-blessed!
