ForgivenessA Poem by LushanIn silence comes the end of this day. Light is leeched from
the troubled sky. Where my hands were
soiled, Muddied at the river bank, I return to wash
them. The sullied water disappears. My reflection is
caste back by the new water
passing. The moon, who's cup is filling, has anointed me. © 2012 Lushan |
