I've Seen Many Things

I've Seen Many Things

A Poem by LuceGal

I've seen many things of which

whirl within shady dreams.

Storms with their mighty swells

of sights can swallow me.

I muddle my memories

whilst washing off mistakes.

No, they do not break me- yet

consume my every sense.

Cradled in serenity,

bound by chains of regret,

I'll greet the ghost of my past.

Though- I'm not finished yet.

This blood which pumps through my veins,

holds no glory nor spite.

It confiscates dignity

to make an even fight.

Yes, I've seen many things which

haunt my soul, my body.

Still, riddled in between this,

light gleams through torn seems.

Suddenly It's clear, we see

the same things- the same dreams.

We have seen so many things.

This is the first poem I've ever really thought about when I was writing it. I've never shared my poetry with anyone so I hope that you enjoy it. I don't know if it's not written correctly or what but I'd love to hear your feedback.
PS: Sorry I've been away. Life got a bit hectic there for a while but I'm back now.
