Structure's DesolationA Poem by LupusTacitaStructure’s
Desolation
Wading through the debris and the dead, I cannot help but question the choices we have made. The paths we have followed, leading us to this desolate place. Through the dust down here no light pierces the veil, But I make out their towering structures through grimy eyes. The high and mighty sitting so far aloft they have lost sight. They are lost in the chaos of their order, blinding them to
the import. The things that we all have taken for granted, but only the
fallen see What has been, what might have been, what should have been,
me. © 2015 LupusTacita |
