Fargazing

Fargazing

A Poem by Kenneth Compton

I find it odd
That within this cell of madness
I find solace in the solitude

I find it funny
That within this drab sameness
I find comfort in my complacence

I find it sad
That within this overwhelming heartbreak
I find strength to carry on

I find it consolatory
That within this chaos
We all find a common cosmos to chart our course

The repetition in this poem gives it a lyrical feel and a great rhythm. I like how you have conveyed a deep message in a very accessible way. Great Job.
