Broken Little ThingsA Poem by Kenneth ComptonI wrote this while drinking. Surprise surprise.
We are broken little things
We wail for freedom while begging for chains We crave love only to throw it away We shiver from the loneliness Yet we are none of us alone We can only be happy in our gloom We share our pain In the hopes of touching joy In dichotomy, we are whole Come be my paradox in blue Let our darkness merge to make light To make axioms out of insanities And fear into fellowship © 2012 Kenneth ComptonReviews
