Looking CloserA Poem by Lunia Angela short poem about a girl who thinks she means nothing but in truth means a great deal to someone..Laughter fills the air A girl pulls her hood closer Hides in the shadows harder, she doesn't want to be noticed Bits of black hair shine in the light, before retreating back. Cuts and bruises litter her arms She's been bullied for as long as she can remember Teased more than one would think In class she always sit in the corner, never speaking loudly, her voice timid and low. No one pays her any mind, thinking she not worth their time, but what everyone else doesn't know... Is that when she smiles.. she brightens up his world.. © 2015 Lunia AngelAuthor's Note
