Risk of LoveA Poem by Lunia Angelnot the original version i wrote but i accidently deleted that one so i improvised with what i remembered >.>' based off a conflict i was recently experiencingHer fingers traced stainless porcelain A dull mumbling barely registering to her ears as she tried to drown out everything Dark hair covered her face from view but she could hardly care Her heart lying torn in two Something within her pulling to stay in the past But something else itching to break away Letting out a light and readjusting herself on her desk peaking slightly from behind the curtain of strands at the figure beside her a light hum escaping her lips as she marveled at him secretly Seeing him move to tear his eyes away from his work She bolted upright instantly her gaze flying out the window Hoping that no one noticed her betraying emotions That no one could see the blush staining her pale skin Biting her lip in agitation He moved passed her vision and she visibly relaxed Letting go of the breath she didn't know she was holding She hated that about her She hated her self cautious nature Hated the fact that it drained her of any ounce of courage But most of all she hated this game her heart yearned for this deadly game of risk because she knew one more bad move and the fragile shield she put to hold herself together would collapse to pieces and she'd give into the darkness that she feared the most... © 2015 Lunia AngelAuthor's Note
