Brain

Brain

A Poem by Lunalove6963

The beauty in the dark
you stole my heart
and a piece of my soul
A desire so deep
that can't be filled
Because I have no confidence
And let my brain argue with my heart
And it's tearing me apart
I let my brain get the better of me
I guess
it's like I never really gave you a chance
But then again
No one wants a broken soul or excess baggage

Ok this made me think. About the content and the technical aspect of it as freeverse. You sneaked a little rhyme in there I see. It has a certain soulful and sad refrain.
