Bubblegum

Bubblegum

A Poem by LunalitSol
"

Things aren't always what they seem.

"
Cotton candy, Bubblegum.
Sweet sticky morsels on my tongue.
Words reverberating in my head,
The corners of sweet apple edges
Effectively, eternally, always uplifted.
Caramel smiles dripping from lips,
Wistfully wishing to lose pretense-
Sweet and sticky bubblegum
always, always on my tongue.
It’s lost all flavor,
Yet,
I chew-chew-chew.
Sweet and sticky,
Empty motions just for you.

Very good potential methinks! Last three lines very strong! No! Last 4 lines. LunalitSol I like the fact that a young girl has not fallen into the trao of writing about boring and juvenile relationships. Keep writing! Keep thinking just like this poem. All will be well. Good work!
