SiblingsA Poem by Hannah Audibertabout my sister Savannah and my brother LewisHer eyes they shined like stares above the sky. Her smile was warm it filled the air around. She lift her arms above her head to fly, But then her arms would fall back to the ground.
He was so small when he was born that night. She had a brother that would keep her safe. He could not make a sound not even fight, But little did we know it was too late.
he fate that happened came so suddenly. His was fast only two hours he lasted that day. She was six when her life was lost silently. There wasn’t much to do and much to say.
Her urn now stands next to his on the desk. We all keep asking what could happen next © 2014 Hannah Audibert |
