Why don’t I love you anymore?A Poem by Luna Elenby
Ache and vulnerability
What a familiar frown I see it in the mirror A stain that grew from birth And escalated on my skin In all my duality, My hurt came to an end Of my own volition I cut off this growth And now I don’t love you anymore Seasons still change And the world still turns One day you’ll expire And who knows what dirt will be kicked up When they dig your grave For now though, I’ll stay violently apathetic As I really, truly Do not love you anymore
