Diamond Destruction

Diamond Destruction

A Poem by Sanctuary Dementia

World policemen of disorder

Crying wolf at simple emotions

Reality of time; life is vicious

They carve out hearts to toss into oceans

Principles of laws written wrong

Their social gain of destroying another’s life

Interstates beheaded by the dozen

Haunting these lives so filled with strife

Commerce of blood but not ideas

Unusual hatred fills lives like arrows

Damned people crucified for depression

A fight enacted to escape the sorrows

Flying toward the dawn of a new age

Broken wings and piercing barbs fly

Yet truth is found in standing from the ground

Mankind is imperfect, yet its why we try

The broken and abused will stand together

Hatred of self fighting with hatred of pain

Joined by the hands of doubt of the enemy

For without painful trials we find no gain

Satisfaction of elimination of foolish faults

Thy scars are badges of honor not shame

Fought through the challenge to survive

Comrades, remember that your life is not a game

Stand tall through others hatred to tell the tale

For through the destruction of pieces of you; created is you the victor.

Author's Note

Sanctuary Dementia
You judge others because of their perceived faults without looking at your own. You break others down for speaking about what they experience then believe its fine to go and essentially do the same in return. Hypocrisy. But just remember no matter how much you knock us down we will still go on, still write and most importantly survive, and be the victor of our lives.

Misery is one of my nicknames, it at one point all that I was for both myself, as well as for those around me. I was vile, I was cruel, and I do stil retain the ability to be as such, but Ive learned .. more..
