Feathered Sun

Feathered Sun

A Poem by Sanctuary Dementia

Honeysuckle memories of long gone laughter

Whispers of screams nose to nose declarations

Inescapable thought lines depressions visitor

Psych ward and hugs binding straightjackets

Watermelon kisses tinged with burning salt

Senses take care; you are in the mind

Deafness of life- innocence becomes hallow

Secrets of heaven fallen angels scream

Welcoming darkness of a happy flower

Petals fall in dances of desire- insurmountable

Cycle of breaking on a wheel"

Wishes of a thousand tons rising to the sun

Ravens fingers enclosing souls of flight

Bones of weary travelers call tonight

Whisper to me the arrival of earthworm arrows

Anger rises in majority of Grendel’s halls

Monstrosity in slim. ‘Slay the dragons’ oceans call

Singing bards of time- clockwork candles rise

Moonlight half full proclaiming a cup left behind

Shatter the mountains; demons rule the mind

Your faith in purity shattered by lust for thought

Beautiful! I've always adored this one, particuarly the poem title, as you know I have a fancy for those, I can drive myself crazy sometimes trying to come up with unique ones that have an enormous amount of puzzle and hard work put in message. It's rare when you don't see me doing so.
