breathless - a quartet of sensual vignettes

breathless - a quartet of sensual vignettes

A Poem by Luna Tique Fringe

singing winds, crying beasts

the curve of your bottom lip
caught between my teeth,

against my thigh, your promise

...

southern vista

rising hills,
rocky peaks

give way to golden plain

southward~

to the steamy delta
where it's said,

men have disappeared

...

breakfast in bed

do not scramble eggs
i have no passion for them

i want to eat quiche
creamy, rich, satisfying

...

sax man

his hands caress
as his tongue coaxes
guttural tones
deep and sliding

as voyeur,
i imagine myself in her place

held close to his chest
in sensual sway

Vignettes always remind me of sitting on a subway and listing to fragments of conversations. We only get a glimpse and have to draw our own conclusions. Along that line you have done very well with this collection, you have mastered the double entendre for sure with "southern vista" and "breakfast in bed."
