Heartbroken Desolation

What have I done
with shadows stretched across the sky, like rays of sun
my pride has crissed, crossed,
mixed my own mind
spun the light inside out

I am spiraling down

into a world of anger
their hearts shadowed over
eyes filled with greed
in a new age of danger
when shall my burdened heart be freed

I really like this, it is short and bittersweet; my kind of writing to be honest.
Anyways my most favorite line out of this is "eyes filled with greed", to me it shows that the people surrounding the person is so greedful it is destruction. It might just be me though since I look into to things a lot more. But it is a great write!
