She was the light IA Poem by LunaShe's our light
1
She was light among her sisters Dim and obscure not unlike her Little it may seem their light flicker Hers are bright, brighter than the rest. Proud parents find her so much potential Her sisters can't compare. All eyes on her, all love for her, does she see it at all? When her siblings stare at her with so much loathing. Proud parents watch her grew And sisters' loathing grew Wanting their parents to be proud of them Found a way to sent her away Proud parents gave them jobs With her sisters watching over her to protect Baleful smiles have them on their lips Happy at the thought, she skipped away © 2020 Luna |
