Lifeless Branches.

Lifeless Branches.

A Poem by La Luna
"

This poem is about letting go, and when you do, you will bloom. Like the flowers on a summers evening.

"

I always found the dried lifeless branches that hung desperately on a tree, beautiful.
The way it hoped that someday the tree will hold on longer.
It reminded me of the time I hung on my past lover, I too would not let go, and everyone that passed pitted and rolled their eyes, I also wanted someone to find me beautiful. Because when summer came I would ravish the earth and swallow the ground, leaving traces of heaven.
