Memories Of The Rain.

Memories Of The Rain.

A Poem by La Luna

Today it rained,
and every droplet
carried a memory.

I tapped the window glass
I touched the droplet
Hoping for closure

I remembered the life
Of the child I knew
And the man who became king

I touched another
And I saw the run
Between the tiger
And the goat

When I kissed another
I saw the feels
The raw emotion I carried
But I saw you
And only you

You were this soft fragile thing
I was too scared to touch.

But when we mixed our desires
I felt weak and vulnerable
You made me realise
The difference between a rose and a weed

Every line I ran my finger through
Whispered your name to me.

This is such an emotive, descriptive piece. Rain factors into so many poet's works, and with this one, you have captured us well. Thank you.

Thank you. Rick, you have a great talent for focusing on every detail :)
As always, amazing job Luna. This poem has so much amazing feeling, it's great for a poet to be able to put their strongest emotions into their poetry. Nice job!

I like how you contrasted a rose with a wild weed.
