The Unseen

The Unseen

They add up, one after another,

with no way to end the pain.

A happy girl with a smile and bright eyes to the

sad, ignored one she is now who no one cares for

A continious cycle

that starts over every day

waking her to a new reality

One that she only escapes in dreams

one the she is only realesed of when she writes

Its a never ending cycle as the bruises and cuts

add up and up, never ending.

No one sees, no one says anything, so

doesn't that mean that no one cares?

Would it be so wrong to end it all?

Would it be so wrong for her to end it,

end the suffering, hurting, bashes and bruises?

Would it be so wrong for her to want release?

It is a continious cycle.

The only end meaning her end.

Only then when the dreams of freedom,

grass filling medows, castles where she is a princess

are gone forever wwill be when she may find her end.

a path so unclear, so filled with fear, no one seems to stop

no one seems to care she is in anguish

are the marks so unnoticable?

So unseen? As if they aren't even there?

It will never end for her, till she ends it...

The day it all goes a mist is the day the happy little girl with bright eyes and a mischevious smile returns, till then only a hollow shell ignored by all remains in her place.

All the little unseen marks tally up the secrets, lies, and pain that she hides inside

while she waits to be saved by someone who will never come
