Inevitable

The rushing thought of demise

It's numbing to think "One day I will die"
When and where and why
Hope that when it happens it's painless and quick
Oh, I think I'm going to be sick
I know I should believe it's somehow better
I will put all of my sentiments in a letter
For now each time I awake-
I will continue to take the herb and bake
You will find me sitting in amazement of the unbound
And giving more love to those that are around
Whatever this life is supposed to mean
I hope I die happy with all I've seen
