Eyes Of Eternity

A poem of the eyes who have love deeper than the ocean, of God our father.

Perfect peace I find in those eyes,

those eyes of whom is fear's very demise.

My life, my hope, my wonder in awe,

I find you, I find no way to explain what I saw.

Oh can you ever understand my yearning,

to others it may seem the least concerning.

Life is a gift I lay bare my questions,

if you have the answers in these longing confessions.

Show me the mystery to the heart,

to your love I may never depart.

You say you are the way, the truth, the life,

guaranteeing the end to any needless strife.

The eyes who have gazed at the beginning of the sands of time,

a mystery to behold so divine spoken softly maybe even in a rhyme.

The melody unheard in a marvelous sight,

erasing still what's wrong and working hard to make things right.

If your hands or body are scarred from the past,

know that in his loving embrace nothing else will last.

Take your time my friend with what's bothering you,

the patience pure and the kindness true.

However, whenever, take those words more valuable than treasure,

worth more than gold, silver, or any precious metal.

The father's words I see deep inside from the eyes of eternity,

the echoes of love never ending, closing in on any vanity.

Proven true are the words unsaid yet spoken in that gaze,

that can whisper and or shout your greatest praise.

Oh how highly exalted are you I see faithfulness true,

I trust in those eyes and I trust in you.

A solemn promise between the two of us,

a sacred oath of a my carefully placed trust.

O woe is me for I am undone,

I need you Lord Yahuah, more than I've ever needed anyone.

Cast me not away for I am guilty,

my good deeds of rags that are filthy.

Still you father sent your only son for that reason,

to trust in myself surely not should be seen as treason.

O how the Earth declares your glory,

if only we opened our hearts to the truth and eyes to see your unveiling story.

Your love is deeper than the ocean and calms the raging sea,

Lord have mercy and have your way in me.

Speak Lord for your servant is listening,

call me deeper into that new and calm sea of glass so glistening.

I want the world to see your love,

in me reflect your Holy Spirit descending as gently as a dove.

Let my heart cry out to you,

I love you Lord with all I am this much is true.
