Butterflies

A butterfly, the sweet summer breeze, everything is calm, all, is at ease. The balance of nature, the everlasting peace.

WINTER, you never saw it coming, its icy grasp, envelops everything. Cold, Painful, yet like before, numb, and blissful.

The sun, ice melts, pain fades. THE SUN, fiery heat, burning you as it invades.

DARKNESS, serene? Stillness, unseen. A calm breeze, but forever, relentless unease.

Pain remained, your mind overly strained, but you made it. Like ever before, the sky a stark blue.

Tomorrow and ever still, today’s fate, forever it awaits you.
