Sitting on a lonsome mountaintop while drinking tea with Jack Kerouac

A Poem by Luke Ritta
"

A poem about the world of tea.

"

Sitting on a lonesome mountaintop while drinking tea with Jack Kerouac

Strong Assam with wild tigers

                              TEA

Murky Green and an old lazy panda

            TEA

Refreshing Darjeeling while watching a movie by Wes Anderson

                                  TEA

Delicate Jasmine with the rising sun

          TEA

Sweet fennel, mediating afternoons

                                    TEA

Powerful peppermint in a foggy hilltop town

       TEA

Sitting on a lonesome mountaintop while drinking tea with Jack Kerouac

TEA

Masala Chai amongst Indian Peacocks *dreamy sigh* the ability to appreciate the sweet and simple things in life. You have captured the moment sooo beautifully. I'm going to make myself some tea :D The poem flows as one drinks tea, each line a sip :D LOVED this! :D

"Delicate Jasmine with the rising sun," I just love that line. I have a fondness for this piece but that is probably because I love hot tea and all of its wonderful flavors. Now I just have to put the kettle on and decide which one I want tonight.

You very simply create a powerful atmosphere that appeals to the senses, while quietly and rhythmically being reminded about the tea...
