Her.

Her.

A Poem by Luke Cazalet-Smith

Her beauty was not bound to mere superficialness. Her beauty radiated throughout her entire being. Every aspect, every essence, captivated love and elegance. Her eyes glistened comeliness. Her smile emitted allurement. If beauty were ever to be personified, she were it. For she were like fire infused with ice; and rage inspired by love.

And my heart shattered. Untold quantities of fragmentations scarpered upon a singular interception of glares. And it was at that precise juncture when my soul unlatched, and were greeted by Love; as if she were an old friend.

Your writing has made my day and opened up my eyes and heart to a completely new view of the world. But I must ask, who is "she". Is "she" in your life today? Or is your love lost?
