The Things I See

The day I began to see new things was the day I started to understand.

The Things I see

 
When I see things happening around me things that seem almost invisible like I’m the only one that seems to notice or care.

 

 

When I see the wanting the needing as I see a child look into its parent’s eyes waiting for words of pride and acknowledgment, secretly begging to hear "I’m proud of you. I love you".

 

When I see people talking and sharing bonds of trust and love I see possibilities.

 

When I see people who seem oblivious to their true feelings and the feelings and intentions of those around them I see unrealized dreams and desires .

 
When I see the words of love and pain doomed to never be spoken or heard. I see people hide their feeling of love because the fear of denial is too great to overcome and a feeling that could span an eternity is lost forever because of a moment of uncertainty destined to be but a memory of what could have been of what should have been.

 

I see the hope in people’s eyes as they speak of the future knowing that behind that seemingly unwavering confidence they doubt themselves always thinking of what might happen if they fail.

 

 

Thinking what will I do if I fail?

 

Thinking what will my parents think of me?

 

Thinking what will become of me?

 

 

Never stopping to realizing that by just having faith in their abilities and remaining strong they will succeed but instead they dooming themselves to possible failure and regret.

 

 

I see people pass blame on to others to hide their own mistakes.

 

I see them taking their frustration out on the innocent because they are afraid to deal with their own short comings.

 

I see people hide from inevitable confrontations hiding behind the word LOVE.

I watch as they say it is because I love him or i love her so they won't say what should be said and what really needs to be said leaving the problem to grow and fester.

I see many things yet i can never see the things i want to see

I can only see what is obvious to me

I cannot see whats important to me

I love the whole obsernation. Especially,

Saying it is because I love him or i love her so I won't say what I really want to say and what really needs to be said leaving the problem to grow and come back worse than before.

It opens my eyes I guess...makes us see what you see...and makes me realise that I see these things too..but I refuse to accept them because they all seem heartless in thei own ways. Loved it....thanx for sharing.

Unfortunately this is true, I experience, witness or hear about this almost every single day.
