Moments of ClarityA Poem by Ally Bakeri sit alone in the darkness staring at the space where i suspect a door to be and wait
every now and then it opens shining light into the room giving me clarity for a moment or two
just as quickly it closes again my clarity slowly returning to the foggy vision of the darkness around me
never having clarity for more than 2 seconds rattles teasingly in my tired mind as i think of ways to make it stop no ideas come though
the only idea that do come come in moments of clarity but they quickly fade along with the clarity and the light of the door
i am trapped in the darkness until the door opens giving me back the clarity that i hungrily crave
but it disappears before i can try to make it stay it will never stay
i am trapped here for all of time © 2009 Ally BakerReviews
