I'm All BetterA Poem by Ally BakerPain I can not control Throbbing Red and swollen Bleeding At times
They take Their sharp implements And poke at it Cutting things away
I scream out Tears pouring Down my face Nails digging into my arms
They dig deeper To get to the root
Pain explodes Again again
My screams No longer come A lump In my throat Blocks them
Tears still pour As they keep digging Nails Dig deeper
Until the pain Stops
They slap on A band-aid And tell me I'm all better © 2008 Ally BakerAuthor's Note
