Confusion

Confusion

A Poem by Ally Baker

by this time

i've known you

for a few years

we recently became friends

but i do not know

if thats what i want to be

you turn to me in class

to talk about anything

i see your smile

its different to me

i'm not sure how

but i'm starting to see you

in a way i do not understand

you're different

and i think i like it

but would you like me liking it?

i do not know what to do.

my head and heart discuss this

while i wait in utter confusion

It doesn't get any less confusing with age or experience. Relax and take your time : >)
Nicely done!

Confusion is rife, people are rarely what they seem and I for one, need to 'get to know' someone before I befriend them...take your time.
This has an easy flow about it and is well-formed prose. i....as a woord is...I...capital.
Cheers,
Helen :-)

"you're different

Wow! What a clever thought! Is that why young girls always act like they're disinterested?

seems like in quite a few of your poems you talk about some girl who likes a guy, but is shy or afraid... if that's how it really is for you when you're around guys then i encourage you to talk to them... i'm sure they'd like you; you seem to be a nice person! okay well...all in all...this was pretty good.
