No Longer InvisibleA Poem by Ally BakerI walk by you as i do every day i glance up at you but you do not notice me you never have
I dont know why i think you will i still doodle hearts & you still invade my thoughts
You walk into my class I am frozen in place you hand a paper to the teacher she points to the empty chair beside me i start to panick you walk over and sit down
You turn to me 'Hi, I'm chase' 'Jenna,' i squek you say 'i know, i've seen you around' my heart skips a beat
we spend the class period talking i talked with ease to my surprise once you started the bell rings. but you're still looking at me and still talking to me
we part our ways for our next class
the next morning i walk by you as i always do you notice me today and smile widely i smile back for i am no longer invisible © 2008 Ally BakerAuthor's Note
