A summers day, we sit and play, outside your house.  We try to play as quietly as a mouse! Its early morning and I snook out of the house. Shhhh we musnt wake mum and dad, or else they might be really mad. And that would just make us really sad!

A marvelous encapsulation of a time gone by. A snapshot of life. Wonderful flow and style, really well paced and immense fun. Such a simple joy to read.

Ohhhhhh lucky stars! You have transported me back to a time a place long forgotten. I caught myself chuckling like a young school girl as I read your poem. You have succeeded in pulling a true chapter from my life. Oh, to be a child again! Thank you so much young lady for bringing a smile to this old prune face marm.

another bombardment with a scanty arsenal! Very pleasant one here! You really are a talented writer!

What childish simplicity! You've captured the essence of youthful frivolity and nonsense in this poem. It's very different to say the least. I like your word "snook." Is this poem based on true to life events in your past?
