Remember

A poem I wrote for my mom, it was published in the "Best Poems & Poets of 2004"

Remember your Struggles, they make you Strong,
They make you, you.
Remember the Devils, that did you Wrong,
And made you Forget you.
Remember Love, it is the one thing that’s True,
It never hurts, it has always Cared for you.
Remember your Strengths, they make you Unique,
And make you True.
Remember the Angels that showed you Light,
And came down to Save you.
Remember Hate it is the one thing that’s Fake,
It causes Hurt, it is out to Destroy you.
Remember these things, and you’ll remember you,
Remember, remember, remember!
Remember, to remember you.
