Constant Changes

Constant Changes

A Poem by Susan M. Fenn

Watch over

Protect

Never sleeping

Never erring

To be inhumane

Being fully alive

To love with tenderness

Yet colder than ice

Defend

Stand proud

Always noble

Humbly lowering your head

Patient and calm

Passionate, overflowing

Your power is

Ability to change

Adapt and yet stay the same

As constant as the river

As unsteady as the rock

Growing, waiting

All of the above

My heart fills with love

For the one that you are

Very beautiful honey, and though this piece holds constant movement the reader is filled with a sense of calm and serenity.

Lovely.
