Soul-mate

Soul-mate

A Poem by Luciole
"

The want of love, the search of love, and the promise of love.

"
Who wouldn't love for someone to hold?
Someone to love you without being told.

Everywhere I look, people are alone,
Why, to them, is no love shown?

Why say to love "no more searching, I'm done,"
If there is a soul-mate for everyone?

I liked the meaning in this, it was short and sweet. The rhyme was quite nice, it didn't come across as forced and gave it a nice flow.

Ah, there's such a solemn feeling to this poem with a very serious question most people worry about but allow to slip on by. The rhyming scheme is wonderful and the questions keep the reader involved and thinking. Good stuff :)
